HammerSmith is proud to have been a sponsor of the annual Historic Druid Hills Home & Garden Tour for 30+ years.

The Tour is the Druid Hills Civic Association's largest fundraiser of the year. Money raised helps the DHCA support local parks and green space, provide grants to neighborhood schools and other local non-profits, host or sponsor community events, provide great communication with neighbors and much more.

​HammerSmith has completed over 100 projects in Druid Hills and knows all about the intricacies of the historic review process, city/county zoning challenges and special permitting issues.

From a post-Hollywood renovation of the Driving Miss Daisy house and a full renovation of Paideia’s Neil Reed mansion for the Half-Day Program, to the current wave of carriage house apartments, home offices, media rooms, wine cellars, gyms, pools, fireplaces, terraces and gracious outdoor living, HammerSmith has long been recognized as the Druid Hills design/build expert.
