The owners of a two-story Colonial Revival house located in the architecturally historic Druid Hills neighborhood of Atlanta wanted to pay tribute to their structure's 1900s styling while updating their tired kitchen. "The old kitchen was removed from the rest of the house with walls on all sides," says Eric Rothman. "This couple has two children and wanted a family kitchen with that Druid Hills character. They wanted something elegant but not overdone."
